We offer barrier systems in both manual or automatic operation.
Manual rising barriers are easy to operate by hand and a single unit can span a width of up to 6mtrs wide. The barrier arm can be locked in both the open and closed positions to provide an easy traffic control solution.
Swing type manual barriers are also available; these have open and closing locking posts to secure the barrier into position.
All our automatic barriers are extremely robust and are designed for heavy duty usage for the busiest of site entrances. They are 100% duty cycle rated which means they can run constantly 24hours a day.
We offer barriers with the beam only or ‘skirted’ beams. Lower skirted beams help to deter pedestrians from going underneath the beam or for the more secure sites we offer the double height skirted beams which have a lattice section both below and above the beam.
Automatic barriers can be operated in a number of ways such as underground induction loops, digital keypads, intercom/video entry systems, remote control handsets or proximity readers, also remotely by using mobile phone technology.
Safety features such as underground induction loops and photocells are always installed to help prevent the barriers from accidentally lowering onto vehicles or pedestrians passing through. Additional safety devices such as resistive rubber safety edges can also be installed to the underside of the barrier boom if a skirt system is not fitted.
Solar powered barrier systems can also be installed for more remote sites where a power supply may not be available.
Barriers can be supplied fully finished in any standard RAL colour to allow the barrier to either be more prominent or blend in with the company colour scheme.
